About Us

A little bit about me and why I started JF Interiors Co.

From a very young age of 9 years old I would spend days with my grandmother reworking her homes floor plan with just graph paper and a pencil for fun. Since then I have taken that passion for drawings and design and turned it into my dream career.

I then completed a 2 year program at Conestoga College in 2019 for Residential Interior Design

During completion and after graduating my program I worked for many years in Custom Kitchen & Bath design. This has really given me a more diverse way of designing my clients projects. While working in such a large industry of hand craftsmanship and woodworking I’ve learned to really appreciate the warm tones that a beautiful piece of natural wood brings into any home.

Previous to my experience in design I travelled throughout North America with our show jumping horses. During those years of my young adolescent age I really grew to appreciate the beautiful rich brown leathers we worked with on a daily basis. Anywhere from our black polished leather riding boots to the medium dark brown leather saddles and bridles on the horses. They were all so stunning and gave me a great appreciation for the product.

With all of these combined, I really like to include little pieces from each element of my life into my designs. You’ll notice the warm brown tones and subtle wood grains throughout my work.
